I don't know how I kept the shiny side up. My only thoughts on it are that I wasn't the one that had anything to do with it, if ya know what I mean.

That was the first time I was ever scared while driving a truck. I didn't have any control over the vehicle whatsoever. All I did was push in the clutch and hold on trying to keep her straight once I got back on the road.

There was another 4 wheeler following me. He said it sounded like a train wreck and that the trailer (loaded with 27.5 tons of granules) went at least 3-4 feet in the air when I hit the concrete culvert.

I want to how he got that truck financed and now how he's gonna get the trailer financed.

We can get a truck, we can get a trailer, but nobody wants to finance a truck and trailer. We've got good credit, but do not own a home and have no commercial loan history.
So please share the wealth and pass the info if you get a trailer financed after you've financed this truck.

I did not finance the truck. I'm very lucky and blessed that I had some savings to dig into. The truck was $8.500 The trailer will have to be financed and will probably cost at least as much. I would not have been able to do this if it hadn't been for some $$ in savings.

I would have purchased the truck and leased onto a company that have their own trailers. There's absolutely nothing wrong with doing that way, but I wanted to go down a different path.

I know you already know this tankergirl, but in case someone doesn't, DO NOT let a bank attach your truck/trailer loan to your house as collateral.
