Pete's funeral was today. There were 2 big trucks in the funeral. I drove Pete's and it was an honor. There were a lot of truck drivers at the funeral. There was not a lot of loads getting hauled in Bloomington,Indiana today. All the truck drivers were at Pete's funeral. Thanks for all the support I recieved this week from all of you. Pete was a good driver and a friend to me.

Wayne, I'm sorry. I'm glad there was a good turn out though, so his family knew how much he meant to a lot of people. The loads can wait, they're never that important.

well I made it home for what its worth.... good to see the family again, of course they all have colds. Had plans to do some repairs to the truck but my settlement got messed up due to clerical error and they didn't fax a confirmation in time so I don't have the money to do the repairs.:biggrin_25510:.. I won't go out until she's back up to speed and safe so I guess I'll be here longer than planned.:biggrin_25511: have to replace the muffler, steer tire that is wearing bad on the inside due to the bearings being worn... also need to replace the cab shocks but I can live with that.

I have my own ala-rob story..... missed my turn went down to turn around , as I was backing up swinging the front to the right I dropped down into a hole that was hidden in the grass.:biggrin_25513:.. dropped so hard the stump (also hidden in the grass) punched a hole in the bottom of the right fuel tank..:biggrin_25521:. I cried 60 gallons of tears as 60 gallons of fuel poured to the ground.. Good side of this which is not Ala-Rob is that I carry tools... Found a fitting on an old tank laying in the guys yard, mated the pump and return lines together and rolled on down the road.. So added to the list of things to do I need to pull the tank and weld a patch on it.. this can wait too I'll just have to fuel more often... :biggrin_25526:

5mouths, at least you were able to drive away and stay of the hook of the tow truck. I hope things pick up for you next week.

boy you are lucky scarecrow!!!!alot luckyer than the u.s.exspress driver i seen at 9 am this mornning, comeing thru lake charles louisiana. seems either his load shifted thru the turns that are suposed to be taken at 55-60 or he blew a tire, but he went thru a swail area and jackknifed it thru a light pole, and thank god it was a break away pole,if it had been a soild concret pole he would have been dead,,,but scarecrow better the truck than you!!!!!and hey look at the bright side,:biggrin_25523:you can barrow robs light repair kit,,,,,,roflmao,,,,,,surgical tape,,,,,sorry rob ,,,i seen it first hand on your trailer,,,but glad your ok scarecrow:biggrin_2551:
