I went in and out of NM twice in one day, once to go through to El Paso and then to pick up a load in Las Cruces. Every time I went through border patrol and scales, I was never asked for my permit. It's weird as they looked over the truck pretty good at the border stops and even had the dog do the once-through....
Go figure....
