Well 5mouths, that's lame and I'm sorry. If Eclipse changes their rates based on fuel prices, they should break out a fuel surcharge for you. If they won't, that's just one more reason not to do business with them.

I meant to share this tip with Pharm a long time ago, from back when I pulled a dump wagon-it wouldn't help him, I read he doesn't have a tractor air dump valve, but I'm just guessing you do. If you scale your load and know you're a little over on your trailer, try dumping your tractor air bags. On the setup I was running, that would take about 800-1000lbs off the trailer and put it on your drives. I did that at those Troutville scales once knowing I was 1400 lbs over on my trailer, and it got it below their threshold for a ticket, which I thought used to be 1000lbs, but I guess they've changed that if Pharm got one for 800lbs or whatever it was. Anyway, if you didn't already know that trick, it might save you some shoveling next time.

I appreciate the tip... I don't aqctually have a dump valve although in order to get under Rob's trailer I had to put on a manual valve to be able to get under it due to the placement when the tow guy dropped it. I have learned how to place the load on my trailer and now insist that it be loaded in that way. ALong with the movement of the 5th wheel I haven't had the shovel out since...:biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514:
