Wow you're more upset about that than anyone.
I'm not the boss. It was one scalehouse. He paid it on the spot and I t-checked it to him, and even that was only to save 20 minutes of waiting.Really wasn't that big of a deal. Half hour delay vs months parked I think it worked out ok.
I am only lending authority until he gets his and nothing more. I wrote a letter for him to get a tag, put him in touch with the right people at eclipse, arranged payments on the trailer deposit instead of once outright, paid the trailer insurance so he could pick it up and let him go. That's the extent of my involvement, PERIOD. I pass on the tcheck express code when it comes in.
There is no contract. Each load he pulls is on his own accord, for himself, at his pleasure, for his own gain. He can pull with or without my numbers, he can pull different freight with or without my numbers, or he can scrub them off and park it. It makes no difference to me and never has. All I did was give him a way to do something at all and front some money. Please check yourself.

Hmmmm....I smell a strong stench of Tuna around here. T-checked him huh?
Check myself? keep dreaming. -
Yes, in that I transferred my earnings to him in the disbursement, just like a toll or road expense to a driver. Pretty simple process really. I would recommend washing your moustache for the rest.

and I would recommend you sitting in a bucket of ice water

Well, since the civil, subtle implications aren't up to the standards of a "Trucking God" like yourself, I will just flat out say it. One of you two are flat out lying. Since I have this utter disdain for you, I am going to think to myself that you are the one. Just my enormous bias shining through.
Have a great night and a great ride on the roller coaster that we call trucking, Hippo Boy. -
You guys make it really tough to go out on a limb for people. I'm not really sure what you're trying to accomplish either. Possibly I just don't get the joke, or the only one not drinking enough to understand.
-
Just for the record, I haven't consumed a drop of alcohol in over ten years. I am about as sober and serious as they come. Anyhow, have a good night, some of us have work to do in the morning.

There actually is no lie at all. I told the first part of the story that he got jammed up, he told how he handled it, and I just told you how it ended. If you need a liar in the mix then this thread won't be entertaining enough for you. If you got "trucking God" out of it, you're not in the right one anyway.

The "lie" that I am referring to is posted publicly in this thread. Two sides to the same story. You may have to do some digging to go back to it, but it is there.
The "Trucking God" comment was derived from a different source, so I will just leave it alone. -
Holy ####. Here we go again. Where's my bat and the horse?
Eskimo6804 Thanks this.
