Yeah, that's not really a complete conversation. I'd rather learn than win, but I think your point was clear, I'm just not willing to do it. BUT, I'm not crazy, if I know there's a situation between paying a bill or surviving, I am of course going to survive instead. I'm just not going to pre-plan ignoring debts for months just in case, that's really the only difference.

 

I swear on everything holy, if you guys make me break out that freakin baseball bat and start wailing on that dead carcass out in the pasture, I'm gonna be PISSED!!!

 

This isn't to say that Eskimo isn't right of course, but I think your financial/ethical priorities are in the right order.

Also this isn't about taking a moral high ground, it's just that I've been there. I had terrible credit for years, and didn't feel very good about myself or my ability to better myself until it was over. I just don't want to go down that road again. I've been bit, and it hurt like heck.

Of course doing it this way I got bit too, and it hurt too... but I didn't feel quite as bad about my part in it... so whatever that means.

 

Why did I figure that I would see you posting something soon? Way to bring something relevant and intelligent to a thread. I applaud your tremendous creativity.

last i checked we were talking about salmon and i've been waiting for some salmon pics. figured that other carcass was tired.
