I BETTER!! My wife n stepkids r depending on me! If I screw this up, it'll be real bad for us. But i'll just find a way to get back on the horse and try again. Things are already topsy turvy with a 40hr/wk comfy company job. So if it's gonna be the same way (if not WORSE) owning my own business, then why not?! But if PHARM can do it RIGHT OUTA THE BOX...I CAN DO IT!!!! I'm even considering going to brokering school. Any info/advice would be VERY helpful.
Which reminds me...how's that Freightliner treatin u? I'm looking at a light, small wb, aerodynamic, cheap($25K or less), easy to fix truck, 5-10yrs old w/less than 600K mi. What r y'all suggestions?? I saw Wayne's 1st truck was a Freightliner Business Class M2 with a Mercedes motor in it and a 26" SLEEPER that hauled HEAVY WEIGHT WITH A HOPPER!!!! NOW THAT'S COST EFFECTIVE!!!!
Oh. And mods, YOU ROCK!!!! -
My truck has been serving me well with minimum hiccups thankfully. I've got a "crash" kit on board which includes belts, fluids, filters, bulbs, fuses, yadda yadda yadda. You should be able to find a decent truck for the money you're willing to spend, mileage might be a touch higher though. It'd be great to have a big hood, but the aero's seem to get the best mileage. Personally, I'd stay away from a Freightliner (Columbia or whatever) with a Mercedes motor. I've seen 'em for sale for quite less than the Detroits you usually see in these trucks. Mercedes = more $$ for repairs and maintenance as far I'm concerned. Your mileage may vary of course!

I know!! I saw one w/500hp DD for 25K with MORE mileage than one with almost the same specs and a Mercedes motor for 20K!! They wanna get rid of it BAD!!!!
