Insurance for new authority $45K year???

never know what your going to hook to, I have my own trailers and I still hook to ones I don’t own for the right money.

I would raise that deductible to 5k though

 

I have never tried to do any other work but I would add it if I was doing something. Never gonna pay for something I don't use though.

 

OP - someone touched on the radius earlier but are you needing nationwide? Otherwise if you can lower the radius to as little as you can that makes a big difference in savings as well.

 

Lease the truck to someone then get your own physical damage. Use that history of NO claims for a basis to get the insurance co to see that you are not a bad risk. Baby steps.

 

I thought my $8k for 6 months quote was crazy. I’m thinking my coverages aren’t right lol

 

Check your uninsured. I was surprised OOIDA only offers state minimums. Lacking good coverage there can seriously screw you especially if you are injured. You’ll end up with a measly 50k which won’t even dent medical bills.

 

I was being facetious but you’re right about uninsured, one bad accident without the right coverage and you’re toast
