I recently got a notification from our current insurance company that we had too many claims and they were dropping us. So okay I reach out to a few agents and they work on quotes for me. Due to our recent conditional rating two of the agents knew right away that they would not be able to help us. Then there was one agent who reasurred us that he could get us a policy. So everyday I hound him about updates on our quotes. Everyday I ask him if I should be worried or looking elsewhere. Everyday he reassures me that he has companies working on us just waiting for numbers. Today I get a call from him (2days before our current policy expires) that he just is not having any luck. If any of you have any advice on what to do next or where to turn please let me know. I have 10 drivers and office staff depending on me.

With a conditional rating you are going to be lucky to get coverage now. Progressive might but if they do it would most likely be more than you could afford.
The only thing I know to tell you is good luck.

Insurance companies don't like claims. You may check with OOIDA and see if they can direct you to an insurance company that will work for you. OOIDA sells insurance but their requirements are going to be about the same as everyone else. If you can't find insurance you may consider leasing on to another carrier. If you go with one that pays percentage or where you can find your own loads, you may be able to keep your office personnel. You didn't mention the type of freight you haul, but there are a number of carriers around that do lease on fleets.

    Boy oh boy............

How about a Nme change, New MC# and DOT#........Might take a month or two to completely change it up but.......What other options do you have besides the Obvious, Which will not only hurt you, But Families that count on you...

If you cant get insured...Make the Name Change..and Hire better drivers

You might investigate your state's options regarding self-insuring. It seems to me you must have a few drivers who ought to be doing something else...

OOIDA might be able to help you out or at least give you a direction to go if they can't insure you themselves. Alot of good advise here for you, name & DOT/MC# change and definitely get rid of any driver's that are causing these claims/accidents and going against your insurance. Good luck its a bad spot to be in.
