Insurance Pricing, Any info on Mega Trux out of Los Banos, CA

    They probably weren't worth the hassle and hoops anyways. One broker won't load a truck there's always 10,000 others that will. You make some assumptions here likely wrong. 10 missed loads here or there does not necessarily equal $15k, or whatever, in lost revenue.

    I just changed ....$30 bobtail / mo and .425 / mile general liability umbrella / $148 mo w/c and .00346 per thou stated value physical damage with a 1k ded. Best I found and was approved by many in this forum as acceptable.

    The bobtail is a million coverage.

    You must be a "Broker Clown", sorry no need to care, I run for shippers only. Someday you might catch up.

    Brokers like Werner Enterprise, Landstar, and the others that won't accept OOIDA insurence is doing you a favor. You would be lucky to get $2.00 per mile with those guys, then take 30-45 days to get your money.

    I run about 3-4 short hauls a year with a broker, old school good broker, not the cut throat mega brokerage type.
