    Almost 3 1/2 years ago Progressive was the only one writing new policies , my first year was 1500 a month . I'm now down to 790 a month .

    I'm pretty concerned as I just moved states, ooida said they have to cancel my old policy and start a new one, I'm assuming my rates are gonna double

    Appreciate it very much. I was with them for 5 years before, never had no problems, just wouldn't cover me for cross country so went with OOIDA. I am back with Progressive now as I am only going 250 miles one way.

    Appreciate the advice very much

    CDL since 1998
    Live in rural city in Alabama
    2 Accidents, both non preventable, even has remarks on the accident report other party failed to yield right of way.
    avg miles per year then 98,000
    No violations
    No Tickets
    Clean record other than the 2 accidents.

    I have the short mileage run with Progressive and it save me a ton of money. Yearly premiums are $3,650.00 Totally glad now OOIDA ripped me one or I would still be getting raped on my premiums
