I need to install an electric trailer brake controller on a 2013 IH Workstar. I have looked at the fuse/relay panel for the trailer stop relay or wiring for it and this truck doesn't have any of it. So now I'm at all loss as to where to tap into too get a brake signal for my brake controller.

Just add your own normally open 5 psi brake light switch and tie in to power for your brake signal to the controller. Locate a service signal air line and tee it in.
Tis an air brake truck?p608, A5¢, AModelCat and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's an air brake truck isn't it? You would likely be best to get an air to electrical converter.
This is just an example as I have no experience with it, but will give you an idea of what to look for.

I did what Goody Snap suggested. I put the switch in the brake line on the firewall and made the wiring connections.
Goodysnap Thanks this.
