Hello to all truckers in this thread. My name is Emolson and I'am a driver a Werner. Having bad experience with them right now because Im getting low miles and sitting alot so I think its time to move on to a better company. Im interested in Prime, Stevens and Crete. What I like about Prime is their drivers get miles, and less sitting around. They have a nice safety record and great equipment to. Their lease program looks great to. At Prime I only would plan to be a L/O and train to make more money. For Stevens their drivers get miles and drive excellent equipment, and I like their lease program to and since its a training company I would plan to lease and train there to. As for Crete im not interested in their leasing program but their drivers do get a high pay and average at least 2500 miles in a week. But from my advices and what Im hearing walmart seems to be better. At Walamrt drivers get excellent equipment, they get miles and their pay is high to. 3 companies im interested in the most are Walmart, Prime, and Stevens. I want to know more about the company and how things work there. Any advice from any driver would help. I would really appreciate that
Interested in driving for Walmart

Three years is the minimum and if you meet the minimum qualifications I encourage you to apply. It may take years of applying and maybe a few interviews before your hired. It took me ten all together,I didnt apply every year but the whole process was actually a little over ten years.
Everyone in the group I went thru orientation with had at least twenty years of driving experience, most of it accident and citation free. The six of us were what was left from the 2000+ applications that were recieved. Your best bet is to continue to focus on being a safe professional driver and put an application in when ever we hire. Also remember to conduct yourself in a profesional manner when your away from work. Having a history that shows you are stable and responsible in both your work life as well as at home is what will help seperate you from the thousands of other applicants.Click to expand...The Challenger and Emolson Thank this. -

I only have 3 years otr with a good record, no tickets and accidents. I guess im not fully qualified to drive for Walmart yet. When later I gain more experience over the road, maybe then I will start applying for Walmart. How long have you been driving for Walmart?Click to expand...
