Dump truck outfits and waste disposal outfits sometime hire felons.
    ~
Waste disposal outfits pay really well and have good benefits. Some are union.

If I knew I could get a job I would. Seems like my past will put me in a situation where anyone else would be hired before myself since I am considered such a liability. Makes sense.

If you can, get the CDL anyway as a backup plan for the future. Keep the DOT physical current at all times while you have a cdl. Never know when a break will come.

Best way I believe is NOT using that WIOA and applying to training companies who will teach train and employ you upon graduating their program. That way if things don't work out you'd still have that WIOA to fall back on to use for another field

Only company I know of that might do that is Millis Transfer. It's dry van, so may not be accepting applications right now, but can try anyway.

I will inquire about some of these and see what they have to say. There are a lot of these on Indeed. Plus who @Chinatown had mentioned

Millis isn't that bad, I used them about 15yrs ago to get my CDL back. I had quit driving in 93/94 and let my cdl go
