Right, but Im listening to actual professionals that focus solely on tax prep for truck drivers. Lots of callers call in with stuff they got from their tax prep person and its all wrong. Putting deductions in the wrong place, writing off a truck too fast or too slow, deductions for personal car use...etc.

I dont mind using my log book as proof, thats fine with me.
As far as expenses, i just want to get something straight. As far as I know...during my regular day of driving (where Im home daily), I can't deduct anything, correct? Now if I stay overnight in the truck that changes things.
My comment about the snacks and munchies were just for regular daily driving as Im not a regular OTR driver, but Im home daily so I didn't think I qualified for any deductions in that regard. -
