    TMC website shows microwave, tv, fridge, cb, etc. Do these actually come standard? If not, what does? ps: After following these threads for a couple of weeks, I am confident TMC is the company for me. You people are really doing a great service for those of us researching/trying to find a company that best suits us. Thanks, Ron

    Hey Griller,

    Tv, microwave and fridge are available in the Hotel for Orientation not in the trucks unless you supply them. What ever you want to put in your truck must be powered by 12 volt. (Cigarette lighter plug) TMC does not allow power inverters due to the danger of fire.

    Thanks joecool. I was talking about tractor, forgot to specify. Since you mention it, is that Des Moines orientation with fridge and micro?

    I'm not totally sure about Des Moines, I would imagine so, but the one in Columbia S.C. did..(Country Hearth) As far as TV, Fridge and Micro.

    All TMC trucks are equiped with a cb as a standard. You will need these at some shippers to comunicate with the guard shack or scale operators.

    A few of the rooms at the Des Moines hotel have a fridge and microwave, but most do not. There used to be a microwave in the upstairs lobby that anyone could use.

    The CB in the 379's is quite nice, although the ones in the 387 bubble trucks is about as much good as a tin can on a string.
