International 9200/9400 No Cruise or J Brake when cold

Do your K-dubs also require a brake tap before cruise works? It took me forever to figure that out about this truck (09 t660)

 

No, never heard of that, why would you have to hit the brakes to set the cruise, seems odd.

 

Dunno either, but if I start out driving and never hit the brakes the cruise doesn't work. If I hit cruise and it doesn't take up, I'll tap the brakes and then cruise works. It drove me batty until I figured it out.

 

Keep in mind certain companies are intent on reinforcing that mental control over their drivers. a 16 year old in the land of coils will make a hash of the place.
