I have a 98 9200i. Wanted to see if anyone experienced any of the following problems and if so, what was the solution.
Air Fan Speed - only works on LO and HI, there are 2 positions in between and when selected, they do not work.

No air coming out from the vent by the driver windshield. The passenger windshield is getting air but not driver.

Is it possible to change the air controller from old school slide style to new turn know style without modifications?

    Thank you so much...

1999 - 9200. Same thing was happening with my switch and then one day all three settings started to work. In the process of putting a new blower motor and switch .

Have you change to resistor in the hvac box? There is also a breaker just for the high speed

There is a plug right with the fan motor in the hvac box. Top left in there. It plugs to a resistor. Check it out. Also while there you can check the voltage going to the motor, but you need to know the resistor is functioning first. Also the blower motors are not the best and the wiring tends to rub the box and ground out. I hate it, but the seat has got to come out and open that box up.
