I’m not sure how they can tell your average speed in California by plugging into the ecm. Does the ecm record emergency brake application.

The Targets and Walmarts can afford to pay higher wages but other smaller businesses will be priced out. You cant force shippers to pay more when they dont have the capital and have compete with Amazon and Walmart.

Cheap freight/labor keeps the country moving. Higher employee wages that are forced, always results in businesses closing. Thats why I say an economic recession is coming soon to correct the market. Its overdue. Real estate, student loans, social security, low wages. Its all going to come down and bite us

Exactly there is nobody who obeys all the laws to the letter, it's impossible.

 

Those companies COULD afford to pay more, but they use their size to leverage lower costs from the carriers. It's the small businesses who are paying more expensive rates because they don't have as much to ship.
