If God had a truck driving company you would find people posting negative things about him too!

Most of these negative posts about IDC is made by people trying to get attention or by people pissed off because they just do not know where to turn in life and a few of them never even really drove a truck eventhough they try to make you think they did.

Even a child mad at his mommy can post on this site and talk about all the bad things a company on this site did to him.

At first I believed crap on this site because I was stupid enough to think it was all true since it was in black and white...But then I seen the real world and found that this site is really a time wasting joke if you believe everything you see on this site!

Now that I have already waisted time in posting this I have a life to get on with so best of luck to anyone who is serious but just remember that some of the things you see here are nothing but time waisting BS. People sometimes LOVE gossip especially if it is interesting and is against someone they do not like or against someone who would not kiss their behinds... This site is proof of that!

 

I don't know what post it was exactly that finally broke your faith in the truthfullness of your fellow drivers, but rest assured your allegation about untruths posted here is simply not true. We all took an oath when we joined truckersreport to post only the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Furthermore, I don't think there has ever been a real life case of a truck driver embellishing a story to make it just a little better. There now, I hope this issue is settled.

 

I don't want to get in anybody's way or call them bad names but
I work for interstate and I don't have a problem getting paid nor do I have a problem getting home in an emergency, only been her a year but have had three of those already and got home all three times and as a matter of fact on my way home now to go to Disneyland with the family and will be at the yard a day early!!! It's just like any where else you have a bad dispatcher, you won't get good loads,My dispatcher is the best in the business!!! I get anywhere from 2500 miles a week to 3500 miles a week and I only sit when I want to!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Thinkin of joining interstate ,what region do u mostly run

 

I run all 48 but even the regional guys are doing pretty good it's just the first quarter is always slow and freight gets slow but i still got 2200 to 2500 miles a week most of the time

 

How is it running teams. With them .and can u go your own route .

 

I drove for five IDC for 5 years, and the first 2 years it was really good, but something most defently up with this company...cash flow, embezzlement,......, but they are running old trucks that break down on a weekly basis , and they don't want to fix them. The new hires get the good trucks, and the teams get the APU's. But, they do run you, starting to make you run very legal, (which we should anyways). Go cautiously!

IDC is a good company and anyone who says it isn't is more than likely his or her problem not IDC's. My husband has worked for this company for over 6 years OTR and is now working locally. They give teams and solos plenty of miles and yes they do require you to send in your ETA/PTA every 12 hours so they can pre-plan a load for you. If you don't do that then I guess you must like sitting and waiting as they don't read minds. I am referring to some of the comments on here that complain about sitting and not wanting to get those ETA/PTA's in to let planners know what your intentions are. IDC has always been a fair company and they do care about their drivers. Anyone who says they don't has their own issues and blame it on the companies. Interstate Distributors as of this post has been acquired by Saltchuk Resources, INC a family and privately owned company. Operations of IDC are to continue, business as usual, and no name change expected. This will allow IDC to have a more positive cash flow, allow them to buy new equipment, give employees better benefits, and gain new customers for the continued growth of the company into this very competitive industry.
