Anyone have input on an Interstate Mcbee inframe kit for a Cat? Thinking of buying a 379 Pete with a fresh inframe that will be done using Mcbee parts. I spoke to the mechanic he has used them before but I want input from real drivers that put some miles after the I frame using these parts on their Cat engines.
Thanks to all who post in advance.

you will save money doing aftermarket.---at first. I personally think oem is the only way. have one truck in here right now with a clevite overhaul kit. 300 miles rings collapsed on two pistons. had one with a ipd overhaul kit wrist pin bushing failed on a piston with 25000 miles. cheaper isn't always better!

Interstate McBee is the only aftermarket that I trust. They actually manufacture many OEM parts. I would not worry about the parts used if they are Interstate-McBee. I would worry about the skill of the mechanic and what will really be done. In-frame is a very vague term.
