I remember going go canada with my dad when he hauled produce back in the 90s.. the places we went were grateful and polite to dad and me.. granted I was 7 or 8 but they were super nice. I wish I could go up there.. but still be home on the weekend.. lol

Joe: No, most my I-5 stuff has either been Seattle to CA (anywhere) or CA to Wilsonville. I guess nothing ever goes up to Tacoma/Seattle... Miles-wise I'm ok. Shortest week was 2400, this week 2800. Broken 3k once or twice.

DM: Only had 3 H/T so far, and 2 were a day late. I'm OTR W11.

Sorry guys, was really grumpy on yesterdays posts. I'd been out a week (short runs) and they gave me a run from Salt Lake to Sumner, WA (home). 850 miles, day and a half run with a 16 hr break at the house. Told wifey and kids, everyone happy; planner snatches it away two hour later to send me to CA and run out of hours in Fontana. New load even pays $40 less.

The part that ticked me off was they didn't even have the courtesy to pick up a phone and explain or apologize. Stuff like that makes me wish I'd looked harder at the other 3 job offers I had before signing on.

    OregonJoe Thanks this.

OJ: True but I'm still from the generation where if you do something that hurts someone (even if there is no choice), you man up and talk to 'em.
