I just got an interview with Pepsi Beverage Company! The interview is in a couple of days and I'm doing research on them now. I was wondering if anyone had any advice about the interview process and working for Pepsi? Thanks

    Hey man, congrats!
I hear good things! you're gonna be pulling one of Americas favorite addictions, recession proof. Someone always needs something to mix with vodka/rum!

Can't offer you any particular advise for pepsi, but make sure your hair is cut neatly and you're dressed well. Best behavior dude!
This includes not blowing your nose in your hand, which I was just told the other day, is socially unacceptable to do when opening the bathroom door for someone.

    Had an interview with them.

    Wasn't impressed.

    $50 a trip
    (300 miles supposedly)
    Office union
    Drivers not.
Said highest ppl paid shuttled trls from plant to plant next town over.

If you wanna be home every night it would be ok.

That's truckloads to Walmart & Sam's club not a sidecar gig.

$50.00 a trip? How many trips a day? What is a trip? So you can get paid more to shuttle trailers but not unload a side load trailer?

Sidecar gig pays by case or hourly combo.
    Truckload
Trip is 150 miles to store 150 miles back.
You fit 2 loads in a shift you make $100.
You actually drive more than 300 miles in most cases. They "try" to keep you within 150 miles.
I asked what stores you go to and knew they were 250 miles away one way. (So ask that)
    Elogs
    Heavy loads through rush time
    Product ready/loaded?

Too many variables involved for me.

Guys that shuttled trailers (hostlers) got paid by hour and were the highest paid. Take that what its worth. Said highest earner made 52k

Wow, I drive pepsi and I make a little over 50 a yr. I used to have my own bay route which paid more but I wanted a schedule change. It's a good company to work for and we are on the lower end of the pay scale as far as most pepsi locations go because we are so small here.

I drive for pepsi aswell. I run Dbay (Side loader).

Base pay is: $527 a week at my location

    Core products are: $0.127c/case
    Specialty brands are: $0.257c/case

Currently rolling out with between 600-750 cases a day by myself.

So base is like $105 a day, then on the lowend $70 on my case count for the day.. It's not awful pay... But the amount of work + hours you put in are high. 100 days of summer just hit so we are cranking out some volume. When that is over with, we slow down heavily.. So instead of 600-750, you might go out with 200-300 cases.. So it does affect your pay there.

Also, at my location we operate Monday-Friday. Saturdays are voluntary, and you go in there just for the 105$ base pay on your check.. Usually work about 2 hours saturday.. Even if you are out of hours, you will drive one of the AMP, Rockstar, or Pepsi vans to take orders. My location is a production facility.

It is. But here is the trade off for me. I started at 320 pounds. I am down to 240. I am home every night, enjoying my own bed. No idling trucks next to me. And ultimatly doing what I love, and that is operating class A vehicles. I'll work alittle harder and burn up in the summer to keep it. Benefits are awesome, and it is just a overall fun place to be apart of. My location however
