Good luck with what ever you decide to do. I understand why a Texas based owner operator would fight hard to be classified as intrastate carrier given how flexible your intrastate hours of service are. The extra time can make the difference between getting home for the next can out of the port or sitting. That adds up to a lot of wasted time and lost revenues.
