Hello. I'm new to TruckersReport. I'm not exactly sure how to navigate the site yet, so I hope I post this thread in the right forum. I'm located in Central California, originally from Georgia. I have been a WannaBe truck driver since I was a teenager, and spent many hours sitting in Klein's Truck Stop parking lot in Fresno, listening to the truckers on my CB. The extent of my trucking experience has been working for and riding with a hay hauler, who was also a rodeo stock contractor and hauled livestock, and assisting my husband who is a diesel mechanic. Now I've had to settle down in an office job, practicing law. I arrived at this site while trying to search for a particular trucker that I knew about 20 years ago. I have located someone who I think is the right person, but I have been unable to contact him to confirm. I am hoping that maybe he uses this forum and will respond to my post, or maybe someone who knows of him will see it and help me get in touch with him. I'm looking for Randy Morse. I was last in contact with him about 1989-90. His trucking company was Morse Trucking out of Mesquite, Texas. In addition to driving truck, he also drove a race car (limited modified #98.) I think he mostly raced at Devil's Bowl Race track in Mesquite. His friend, Joe Chandler, was his mechanic. I think he would be approximately 60 years old now. I think his trucking business may be in Athens, Texas now. I located a Randall E. Morse Trucking in Athens via FMCSA, but I'm not sure it's the same person, and I have been unsuccessful at reaching him at the number listed on FMCSA. If anyone knows him, or knows how to get in contact with him, I would appreciate any assistance with getting him my contact information.
I'm glad I found this site. I'm going to enjoy the forums.
