    Hello, my name is Spinner from Ponoka Alberta.

    I'm 63 and have been a trucker for 30 yrs. I've been off for about 5 yrs, and I MISS IT!!! and want to go back on the road again for a couple of years. Have 2 great grown kids and 1 super grandson

    Wow, what can I say: what a welcome!!!!! Some day I'll share a story or two. Oh, what the heck, here's one:

    Sometime in 88 or so I was in Salinas at scmuckers Jams to pickup 5 skids of jam. It was friday afternoon and they brougt the skids and left them on the dock and said "There you are, load it." Since I did not have a pallet jack, I picked up an emtpy skid and walked it to the front of the trailer. I then proceded to load the little boxes one at a time ( I was tired) A few minutes later a guy from the warehouse came to me and asked how long I would be since there were 2 trucks on the road waiting for the loading dock. Without thinking, I told him that I had till monday when I had to be in LA. In less than 5 min a forklift came out and loaded me and shrinkwrapped each skid. The funney part of this whole episode was that I wasn't trying to be a smart ***. He asked and I told him.
