I travel with my husband and we have a Thermo King 41-8744 Inverter installed. It runs from a 1000W shop vac to microwave, to TV. However — cause I’m a little vain — I have a hair appliance that absolutely will not work. The lights come on when plugged in but it does not heat up. It is 125v and brand new. Any suggestions as to why it doesn’t work. Works just fine at home. Just not in truck. I have run into this problem before and have read, researched and drove myself crazy trying to find an answer. Any ideas??
Thanks to those who respond and don’t laugh at my vanity!!!

Yes you'll need a pure sine wave inverter to operate it.
My induction cook top would not work with my old modified sine wave inverter. But it works great on my newer pure sine wave inverter.
