After I have installed on my truck a brand new Tripac APU I thought the ThermoKing invertor they installed will be a great back up for my good'ol inverter that I have since many years ago. But I was awful wrong. The Thermoking inverter is not capable to make the microwave work neither the printer. I'll probably put it in the garbage.

I'm thinking about buying a little 8inch electric skillet for my truck. It shows the wattage as 1800. What size inverter do I need to run something like that? Is it smart to even buy a little skillet like this?
