inveter install kit

    As some of yuns might know i am looking at buyin a 1500watt cobra.....where would be the best place to start lookin for install kits or can i go to my buddys audio store and make my own.....if so what do i need to "barrow" off of him to make my own kit???? all info will be appricated.:biggrin_25525:

    I bought one a couple of weeks ago.... I can PM you a link to where I got it for $96 (total)...1500 watt cobra inverter.

    Cant help you with the install kit though...but this place sells the inverters way cheaper than anywhere else I found them.

    You will be cheaper to go to a welding supply and get some heavy welding cable to use for the wiring, or yes you can get it from your buddy at the radio shop. Just be sure to fuse it at the battery to prevent a fire if it shorts out. If your buddy has a radio shop he should know all this info and be able to help you with the install.

    i thought they looked like some of the same wiresand fuses i have put on some of my big stereos in vehicles i aint talked to him bout it yet but whats the best size fuse to use?

    I can't remember how many amps that thing pulls but the package/manual should tell you, just fuse it accordingly. I think a 50Amp is the one you need but don't want to tell you wrong. Yes they use the same type of wiring as a car stereo/amp uses or any other heavy wiring like battery jumper cables, welding cables etc.....
