Laptop/computer in truck, no special software.

Printer in truck. I prefer the $100 Brother basic laser printer. You need a big PSW inverter to run a laser printer though.
Mine has lasted 6 years with only 1/2 toner replacements.

    1. I make an invoice using an easy template I came up with on my computer, just changing numbers/info every load.
    2. Print it, it's 1 page.
    3. Scan rate con, BOL/POD and invoice using Adobe scan on phone.
    4. Email to broker.

    5 minute process per load.

I prefer to print out invoice and keep the hardcopy of rate con, POD and invoice for my records but it really isn't necessary nowadays.

Quickbooks online works great. Once you set up the vendors and all it takes a couple minutes max. Use App Camscanner to make a PDF of the BOL and save to my iCloud Drive with all invoices and paperwork when done. Not really a reason I need it but just a back up system if ever needing it if quickbooks online is down.

I also use QuickBooks self-employed. Super easy and to the point.

    Siinman Thanks this.
