Yessir. I have a buddy that drives a truck with a Ltyx camera “safety system” in it and when they got them installed and he told me all the things it did, and all the things he couldn’t do, I seriously thought he was joking.

Swift had them for a year, or maybe less, then got rid of them. I think they lost too many drivers because of them, or maybe it went badly for them in other ways.

But I was never called out for anything I did while driving. Eating, drinking, changing the radio station, lighting my pipe... so I really wasn't bothered by them all that much. When I was in the bunk the front curtain was between me and the camera so they could not see me.

I didn't like having a camera watching my every move, but I didn't quit over the issue. Probably because Swift was never that strict about it. If they had been it would have been a different story.

My career would end there. We've all got standards and free will and I'll do a lot of stuff others put up a fight over but not be recorded while driving. No way no day. The camera's first day is my last day.

Make me wear a mask during a pandemic? Sure, in close quarters with other people but not in my own car or home.

But want to spy on me unknowingly during any time of any 14 hour workday? No way, not happening.

If a 15 year vet that does road tests gets a talk to by safety because of the inward camera recently probably not a good choice. My bad they sent a BIPA policy on my tenstreet. I should have read it. lol. forget Ruan.

Who cares about off duty. They can watch my fat ### all night. Wonder if I'll get "coached" on other things not driving related. LOL

"Hi this is Lulu from safety, hey we noticed you had a double quarter pounder with cheese, large fries, and a Monster energy drink along with some Ding- Dongs for dinner last night, that's 3 times this week, lol, well now maybe we should bring you in for a cholesterol check, lol, we don't want our drivers having a heart attack behind the wheel now, you stay safe out there, and tonight, how 'bout a salad?" bye now
