I would be a fool if I was either rude or unfriendly. I'll just be a little more careful in future than I have been in the past. I've only ever had one ticket, and that was a dodgy speeding one, so my involvement with law enforcement has been generally favorable. I've collected a few tickets on behalf of the company, and accepted them without complaint, basically because I've handed them in to dispatch with the words "Pay this" on my return to the terminal.

I have LEOs amongst my family and friends, and would not tar them with the same brush as the occasional maverick. Somewhere back up this thread, I said I comply with their instructions so I can get on with my job, and they can get on with theirs. That still holds true. I'll just go about my business with a bit more awareness of the fact that I have some rights, even as a driver.
