iPhone 5 details announced

I'll be looking into a new phone next spring. I got the iPhone 4 last July

 

4G LTE finally...

 

indeed. I remember Steve Jobs having a reason for opting to stick to 3g on the iPhone. Glad they finally caught up.

 

The biggest disappointment in a long time.. screen is only .5inches larger and there's no really wow factor.... sticking with androids for now

 

To me it seems a lot of catch up, so now it looks more like an EVO or one of the other new android phones and incorporates many features that are not very new. Though having 3 microphones is something my android phone doesn't have I don't think.

I will be interested to see if Apple will win at marketing this phone, I think the new dock might make people mad (my I-home broke so I don't care) but Apple has consistently shown marketing skills second to none. In any case, I know o will get to play with it because I married someone who is sorta an apple loyalist.

Apple are pretty much the pioneers of the smartphone so they're fan base and following is quite large

The iOS software is nearly flawless, which android is catching up on but just about every android user has had "force close" issues Atleast once.

Again, apple pioneered most of the technology and features droids use but now they have caught up and made them better than apple. This will than likely be Apples last real successful iPhone release due to the quick advancement of Androids.

 

It has an a6 chip also compared to the ipads a5x. About a 12th thinner and completely hd. Still gonna wait seeing I've got the 4s
