IRS: You may have to wait for your tax refund

Tax refund? Who gets a refund i havent seen a refund in 15yrs

 

You Could- Your probably thinking, I'm an owner-operator and I just pay the minimum quarterly,Or just "pay" come march/april.

Put away 30% of your 'salary' that you pay yourself, Depending on your dependents- Whether you own a home-File jointly etc- You'd get a Refund.

Most people that work a "regular" job pay anywhere from 20-35% of taxes each pay period- 90% of those people get a refund every year-

 

If they got a refund then they didnt pay . They're basically recieving welfare from govt.

 

...or they paid too much and get back the overage...

 

Huh? Where did you get that notion?

 

I don't get a refund either. If I over paid I just have it applied to next years or I pony up what I was short on my quarterly est.
