At $10/hr, it would take me 8 hours to unlock the door. But if one needs to get experience, jump in and drive. Deal with it for a few months all the while looking for a better job.

Got 2 former CDL class members that have worked on ABF Docks for over 8 months now waiting for a Driver position to open.

    $22 an hour X 40 hours = $880 a week.
    $880 X 52 weeks = $45,760 a year.
    This is excluding overtime pay.
This is FANTASTICALLY & FABULOUSLY EXCELLENT money!

    $13 an hour X 40 hours = $520 a week.
    $520 a week X 52 weeks = $27,040 a year.
    Overtime would be $19.50 an hour, ($13 X 1.5).
As everyone knows, being a corrections officer is an EXTREMELY DANGEROUS job. They deserve all the money that they can earn, and then some.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

That's lousy money for a truck driver.

Forklift operators and other warehouse workers who are in the Teamsters union have been know to earn more than $20+ an hour.

I'd take it. But then again I don't need to make a lot of money. My rent is only 600 a month for a 2200sq ft four bedroom 3 bath house.

It is, sadly, but I doubt most make that much. Trucking is kind of a lousy profession, in terms of what we put up with, especially once you've tried others

Ten bucks an hour would get you laughed at from me. I can go drive a fork lift for ten bucks an hour. Hell I could go hand unload trailers again in the bigger cities for ten dollars an hour.

$15 and up for local truck driving work, and honestly I'd be expecting some serious overtime.

There was an ad locally here in San Antonio that was a local work nights home every day, and was $20 an hour straight time. You get shafted out of the overtime but that's still better than $10 an hour.
