Is 2-3 days off for every 3-4 weeks out the standard for OTR Megas?

Food service....beverage delivery. Very common in those two sectors.

It's funny how many drivers put up with schedules they don't like, conditions they don't like, people they don't like.
As it has always been, it is the driver that really has the power to dictate conditions.

All it takes is the ability to say 'NO'.

Could you imagine if we all said "NO" just for three days and just sat.
But with pay, hours and parking all being problems for a long time and nothing happens. What could bring drivers together to do it?

How much experience do you have? General location?

My company you can run 5-6 or 7 days.
I schedule Sun noon to Thursday noon... once a month I'll work a Friday, but I'm home at noon.
That 7 days out 1 day off is crazy.

We have drivers who stay out 3 to 4 weeks, schedule 4 to 5 days of, maybe more...park truck at plants or home, they don't get punished by losing their truck... their truck is their truck.

3 days lol that's funny. Here's how's it works they get you home at 10 pm Friday night that's 1 day off. You have all day Saturday 2 days. Then you start out 5 am Sunday that's 3 days off

No life. I wouldn’t do it for any amount of money but your mileage may vary.
