Is a EIN the same as a Business Tax ID?

    I am setting up a business checking account online and they are asking for my Business Tax ID#. This is an LLC and I was assigned a EIN. Is it the same or do I need to use my SS#?

    You need to use the EIN on anything relevant to the business and your SS for personal stuff. ALL-WAYS Keep the business transactions separate from your personal ones as much as possible.
    In the beginning your personal credit history will be the businesses but start working on separating them as soon as possible.
