And by free Verizon means: Verizon increased my monthly rate by $10 a month with a two year contract, so $240. Plus a $50 device activation fee, for a grand total of $290 for a free tablet! I knew all that going into it, but just a reminder that there is no such thing as free! I did like the co-pilot gps I downloaded onto it, for $10 a month. I liked the android, and was happy with the deal from Verizon. My wife wanted me to get tablet more than I wanted it, but I liked it after I got it.

I like the iPad much better.....got a bigger screen.
I did get a $25 credit when I traded it in for my iPad upgrade, so grand total was actually $265.

    An absolute necessity? Perhaps not....

Problem is though that you can't find book maps anywhere anymore. Royal Farms used to sell them by county. No longer.

That's one of the FEW things I use mine for.

If you are OTR, where can you find a fax machine that works to deal with your bills of lading? With a smartphone and a free app, you can take a picture of the bill of lading and send it to your company. You no longer need to find a fax machine. Just a thought.

    Pumpkin Oval Head Thanks this.
