Is anyone here a owner operator for Western express or Interstate?

I'm not a O/O anymore. I wouldn't be able to help you, but if you have never been a O/O and you probably already know this, but keep all the receipts done on the truck so you have that for write offs at the end of the year and if you ever sell the truck you have proof of all work that has been done. Make sure everytime you get paid put money back for repairs, tow fee, etc... Depending on how you are with ur truck take it in, or grease and change your oil, grease, etc.. Every 10-15,000 miles some guys go longer, but I tried to get mine in around every 10-12,000. They can be very costly!!! I'm sorry if you knew all of that, but I'm just trying to help with what I have been through. I wish you the best!

 

Btw I have heard Landstar is pretty good though, and a couple others. I can't think of them right now.

 

ummmmm......frankly, I don't know of many, (perhaps anyone), that would recommend Western for anything. Read up on them when you get the chance. As far as Interstate goes, seems like the happiest folks are those west of I35.
If you're looking to LP, I personally recommend Schneider, but there are many, many others far better than Western Express.

Not on the o/o side western express has a good lease

and what was that prime driver thinking..... just go to the next exit make a left, and make another left, merge back onto the interstate headed the direction you wanted to be going..... dont panic
