Is anyone using the legacy boards for JB hunt (internal board) not the 360 boards

So we have been using JB hunt 360 load boards. Yesterday we get a phone call asking if we would commit our truck to the legacy boards but must commit for a week at a time. So we called JB hunt today asking more about the legacy board but they will not let you have access until you commit your truck for the week. So my question to you all do any of you use these legacy boards? Is this something that would be beneficial for team drivers? We declined because we can’t see the boards before committing our truck.

 

I played with the idea a few years back. The spot market rates sucked and I wanted consistency in exchange for their not much better but more stable rates as Power Only.

At first, they told me that I could use their internal load board freight and dispatch myself but after I signed all the paperwork to be able to do the work, they told me that I had to be dispatched by them for some time because there were only so many spots reserved for the internal freight and I had to wait my turn.
I told them that first they said one thing and later another and that I was not going to do it as a dispatched carrier.
Maybe they were to dispatch me in a good way but at the moment my trust to them was undermined too much by their deceptive play.

 

The other board sucks. I have never won a bid. All reasonable offers and got nothing. Oh well. Hasn’t slowed me down. Was just wanting another avenue to use.

 

Ya we just could not see ourselves committing to something we can not see. The guy said he could take a screen shot of some of the loads but we could not have access until we signed up. Like with you they told us we could pick our loads but he didn’t want us to wait three weeks before picking a load. So I guess once you get access you need to pick loads for that week. Anyways we told them no thank you. We will just find our loads off of the dat and 360 boards we already use. We thought it was strange and wondered if anyone had actually don’t it.
