Yes atl doesn't have alot of high paying tanker jobs. I would say cryo is the highest for the area. But you will grow tired of the long drive if you dont live close enough to one of the terminals.

Reffer sucks, crazy unload times, piece of crap security guards, and dump lumpers. Tanker jobs where u dont have to deal with anyone is way better. Fuel hauling, cryo transport, Bulk LPG delivery is better.

Right now you have enough experience to try Loves.
But most tanker outfits that pay want 3-5 yrs experience.
But some will hire you with 1yr of just trucking under your belt.

Are you looking for home every day or every week?

Bulk tanker doesn't require a tanker endorsement. And alot of liquid tanker companies dont consider that as experience.

Best way to get a good job in chemical tank is to go to the terminal and talk to the terminal manager in person. Shows that you are serious and that they may not be wasting their time with you.

1 year doesn't guarantee anything. It's not a magic door that opens at that point. You still need to sell yourself. Start meeting people who make hiring decisions.
