The doctors say you are obese way before most people do. For your health sake, try to lose some weight, for most people that is hard to do while having a job like a truck driver. I went to a website where it shows what most women look like, just put in the weight and height, body shape, and I would say most of the women at your weight and height look OK, in fact I'd probably "Hit" on most of them but I am not the greatest looking guy. you are fine for a truck driver!! http://www.mybodygallery.com/search.html

Apply to the companies you've already been informed about that don't require another physical; Magnum Ltd. and Freymiller are the best.

    Freymiller
    Magnum Ltd.
    TransAm
    Paschall Truck Lines

If you decide on one of these companies, take your DOT Medical Card and medical long form, if they request the long form.
Drive for any of these companies and you'll be blasting by those Prime trucks.

It does not matter what you say or claim. If most doctors see you weight too much for your height they will flag you. You can claim to run a mile everyday, actually have 120/75 blood pressure, and sleep fine they will still order you for a sleep study just because you weigh a certain amount. From what I have heard those sleep studies and CPAP machines cost thousands of dollars, so most people wanting to drive for 32 cents a mile can not afford that. Not that it matters to me as I got out of this crap industry but just saying.

My buddy 5'11 330lb mid 30's passes his physical with a 2 yr every time. He doesn't workout either. No meds. If you don't have high BP problems your fine. I have two co workers mid 40's 350lb to 400lb guys they pass with a one year all the time. Think their both on meds and are on top of going to see their doctor.

Im a big lardo..300+, i have the worst diet habits ever, never had problems at physical..always worrying about blood pressure, i dont want to do all the sleep study crap, but ive been passing just fine..

Your BMI number is what will get you signed up for more crap..I think your allowed 33..(if im wrong its 31)

I dont think your actuall weight number matters, if your 700 pounds and 4 ft 3, if you pass BMI and BP and all that, your good

Theres some tips online for lowering your BP before a test, drinking beet juice is one...lol

BMI is a very flawed system. Height vs Weight doesn't take muscle into account. Muscle is more dense then fat so the same amount weighs far more. Most sports athletes would be considered morbidly obese according to their BMI. Common sense would dictate to take physical appearance into play along with height and weight. A 300lb 6ft body builder would obviously be in far better shape then a 300lb 6ft person who's never worked out a day in their life. But both would have a BMI of over 40.

My only problem with my fat ### is if my wallet is in my right pocket it sometimes bumps against the I shift knob if I'm on a particularly bumpy road (ie every interstate in Indiana) and triggers a downshift. Since it is an XE package, it's loafing along at 1200 rpm at 67 mph so a down shift only brings it up to about 1500 rpm. So I can either up shift or let the computer figure out that it doesn't need to run at 1500 rpm and up shift on its own.

Let me just take the time to thank everyone for all responses. I really appreciate everyone's point of view and I feel much more confident going into this. I have also asked my prime recruiter and she clarified a little bit for me. I'm still going to go to prime orientation first. If give any reason they don't take me, I have us express, and several others willing to bring me in so no sweat !
