Clays Radio Shop is in San Antonio by the Petro.
About Clays Radio Shop
I haven't been to Weatherford in a while, but there used to be a radio shop there. By the Petro I think.Tonythetruckerdude Thanks this. -
Clays moved from Weatherford to San Antonio....or just outside San Antonio...

Thanks fellas. I had him tune a Cobra 29 back in .the early’80’s. Best radio I ever used. A buddy of mine son just started the coast to coast deal ( he’s only 30 ) and he’s wanting a “big radio”.
lord this brings back memories.Getsinyourblood Thanks this. -
Be more concerned about a good ant set up so that he dont beat up that "BIG RADIO"Tonythetruckerdude Thanks this.

Clay is still in business but just outside the loop in San Antonio now.

The cb shop in Weatherford is run by the people who own the truckstop next to it, I believe.

I lived in the Weatherford area for 15 years until 2011 and Clays was not in Weatherford. He was out in Gordon, Tx at exit 370 on I 20. Same exit as the old Bar B truck stop.

I'm talking about a much earlier time frame. Circa 1983/84 IIRC. I may be mistaken but I thought he had a place on the east bound side of I20 a few miles before the Petro at the 409.

It use to be out near Ranger Hill (think it was Gordon)where the old truck wash was at they used to set SWR in... (always wondered how that worked)
They moved from there, to somewhere either in or near Weatherford and was also selling Motorcycle accessories....This was probably either during the Obama years or right before.
