Somebody had clutch braking on their profile, I've never heard of it. Is it a real thing or a joke
is clutch braking real or a myth?

The clutch braking happens when you step on the pedal standing still. It stops the transmission gears from spinning so you can get it into gear.

Its a joke he has on his profile. The clutch brake is only meant to be engaged when the truck is fully stopped and you depress your clutch pedal all the way in. This enables you to get the truck in to a gear from neutral. This is why you shouldnt push the clutch pedal all the way in once your rolling as some guys do and it will ruin the clutch brake and it will become hard to get the truck into gear when stopped.
rank Thanks this. -
The clutch brake is used for getting in and out of gear when stopped. You can feel it when you depress the peddle all the way down the last inch or so will get harder and that's the brake being depressed.
On a side note, this is what happening they don't teach this stuff anymore kids are made to learn this stuff on there own now adays70s_driver Thanks this. -
