i think it's a great idea. first of all, it will keep you out of trouble. it's worth it for that alone. keep you from spending your money on ######## at the truckstop. you won't by that worthless whatever when you know you have to pay that bill. and when it's all said and done, you'll feel good about yourself and your family will be sooooo very proud of you.

When is it ever wrong to get smarter? Take class sure but also remember if you are wanting to start a company in the future study which companies seem to have their act together. As a trucker you will see good and bad companies. I know that when I pull into a yard if the yard is a hole the company is probably not being run well.

And I am doing law school while trucking. So far, so good.

Finish school and then go drive a truck.

School gets harder as you age, and you're not missing a thing out here on these highways and biways

"School gets harder as you age"

Don't know if that's true for everyone. I'm 45 years old and have earned over 110 college units in the past five years in a wide variety of subjects. The older students almost always seem to be the better students and are usually the only ones who have done the reading and can talk about the homework in class. Experience has taught me to avoid study groups with anyone under 30, unless they're really sharp.
