    It sounds like they're reducing van-ex by 200 power units and transferring to other divisions, although except for STI, we all run under the same DOT number since 2021.

    Well, we are definitely seeing a turning point in the trucking industry. Longest trucking recession in history might finally be taking shape to turn the corner. And reward those companies that survived and even owner operators. We have a lot of the illegal foreign drivers being taken out of the equation as we speak, although I still see a lot of them out here, and we have the companies that hired a revolving door of new and often bad drivers going under. The demand is surly about to start creeping back up soon. That said, there’s going to be a massive wave of drivers looking for work.

    Max Fuller is/was the HMIC at US Xpress, his brother David is/was the big boss at Covenant, and rumor around Chattanooga was that their sister owned the Freightliner dealership there.

    I don't know if Craig Fuller of FreightWaves is related to them or not.
