    Big deal.

This is the Economic cycle of this industry.

They oversold trucks, to the point that if we don't get a serious fall out of marginal operations, we will be stuck with the overcapacity for the next year.

If you are the person cummins just laid off, yes it's a big deal. For those if us in trucking however it's just a part of the normal market cycle of business.

That doesn’t help the folks who are getting a pink slip for the new year though.

It's not just the trucking industry. We are kind of a bellwether for economics world wide, within all the aspect of industry, Commerce and Tech and foodservice.
All that we are involved in have slowed and subsequently we are now slow also. Slower than anytime since 2008-2009.

Montana doesn’t produce much freight. It ranks #44 for both van and reefer for worst outbound freight of all states.

The Best and Worst States for Outbound Freight!

I never said that you had to worry about them all. But to those in the industry who don’t follow HOS rules like we do a loss of employment can be catastrophic to a lot of folks.
