Their recruiter came to our school today, sounded like a good company...I like that she said they pay on practical miles and pay the same for loaded, unloaded or bobtailing...
Is H.O. Wolding a good Company?

My only concern was they seem to be doing a lot of recruiting and only have 350 trucks...Of course they said home time wasn't an issue and I liked that you could take your tractor home...I will looking into them a little more tomorrow...She showed up at 7am and I was still working my way thru my first cup of coffee so I didn't hear everything...

My buddy just started with HO Wolding he is out for 5000 miles with trainer. This is his 3rd company for him and he said it FINALLY feels 100% right. We went to school together then we worked at Watkins Shepard together, he went to Werner and now HOW. He is very excited. He is an awesome person just had some family things dealing with that he was unable to stay with 1st 2 companies. If I ever leave Watkins Shepard HOW is on the top of my list. I have a few people I know who are also with Heyl and say they are also great. Any company under 400 trucks can give you that family touch and better Driver company feeling. Good luck.

Hey Zippy, I listened to Betty the recruiter yesterday mornin for the 2nd time and they are def on the top of my list. I should be graduated by the last wk of Oct and hope to be set to go with HOW asap. She said they do orientation in Alabama once a month and at their main terminal in Amherst Wi every week. $20 per day meal allowance and on site lodging. What i can think of off top of my head is they start out .27cpm no experience, 6mos .28cpm, 9mos .30cpm, and 12mos .325cpm experience. Short haul .03cpm for trips 260 miles or less. The big catch for me is they pay $200 month tuition reimbursement full tuition paid back. unless wia grant of course. After 60days you get health insurance on the 1st day after the 60day mark thru BCBS. In my case il pay $48.59 for me and my 10month old daughter a week. (REALLY GOOD) i think.. jus ins on yourself is $18.55 a week. THATS REALLY REALLY GOOD! oK AND training pay for the 3wks that you will be on the road with a trainer is $390 a wk PLUS they give you $150 up front for food that is put on your comcard.!! She said avg start out drivers last yr made roughly $40,700 which includes the bonuses for different things they have that i cant remember. My brain is mush now all i can think off. Hope it helps. Be safe good luck out there!
