So how often do you really need I-82? Once every 4 or 5 years. And my googler shows they have a large chunk of the north bound side demolished and not just under construction, closed. Nothing good will come of this.

    Im not sure. That's Yakima.

If it's involving Yakima there should be a bunch of shippers there with precious produce and apple loads east.

If it's part of the US Interstate system, then Uncle Sam will know what the problem is. It's my understanding that these routes are first taken care of, first opened in winter and first above all other routes in anything affecting the United States at large.

What do they grow up there?
Seems like they have ropes hanging down and something viney climbs up it.

Mostly they grow WEED now, so maybe somebody took down too much of the interstate, instead of just a section.
I've noticed they are taking out 15 to 20 miles chunks everywhere this year. Except Indiana. Indiana they put barrels out for like 30 miles, and there's one dude with a pick up truck and a jack hammer working on a CRATER, one handful at a time.

Indiana has a giant budget surplus, we have the money to fix all the roads but that billion and a half dollars sitting in the bank sure is nice.
Illinois has great roads but they’re in debt.
Plus dodging the potholes keeps you alert

There was one crater so big on the 465, there was a guy down in there with a 1996 FLD. Everyone just drove over him as he bridged the gap in that lane.
