Please use caution with this. I say this because I am sure you want to get through the training process as quickly as possible and get your own truck. One of the biggest problems a trainee faces just out of orientation is trainer availability. Some have to wait a week or longer depending on the company. While I understand your concern please understand if you start making a lot of demands in regard to a trainer you might find yourself waiting for a long time to get assigned on a trainers truck. I am not trying to persuade you to be careless just be careful during this process.
Is it better for a woman to get trained by another woman or man?

As long as your trainer is a Pro, it doesn't really matter.
Yes us mega company trainers are given a rundown of "don't get sued 101,"
I'll train anyone that's willing to learn and improve, that being said, my cab and sleeper is wired for sound. I put in my own in cab camera too that sees both seats. All by me, because even after asking for one of those company spy cams I didn't get one. The student signs a disclosure before they ever go down the road, knowing this fact.
Come in ready to learn and improve and you will have a good experience. Treat me like an obstacle between you and a truck, I just get harder to get around. -
